ADA had productive days organizing diverse consultations in Bangkok in August, including ADA Members Meeting on 14 August 2016.
1. Decisions of ADA Members Meeting
Please find enclosed Decisions of ADA Members Meeting(14 August, Bangkok).
Two organizations from Malaysia and Japan newly joined ADA and several decisions were made for future IFP project which will be conducted at the national and regional level with VANI's cooperation for financial management.

2. Invitation to De-briefing Skype Meeting
We are planning to hold a Skype meeting for de-briefing of ADA Members Meeting and the Regional Consultation on Asia Partnership for Sustainable Development(APSD).
We will share the details of the APSD with the draft Terms of Reference as well as explanation on the decisions of ADA Members Meeting.

List of Decisions at the ADA members meeting
New Membership

Accept the Malaysian CSO SDGs Network and Japan NPO Center as member of ADA,
Legal registration

Register the ADA in Korea legally in order to open a bank account in the name of ADA for effective financial management,

Maintain the Seoul office as a main focal point for ADA and as a liaison office with KOICA
Representation
-
Nominate Doun Moon, Coordinator of ADA to be one of Asian regional representatives to the Action for Sustainable Development (A4SD),

Reaffirm that Zia from PDA serve as main representative of the ADA to the Steering Committee of TAP Network with support from the ADA Secretariat,
IFP Project Implementation

Request the ADA Secretariat to put the required amount of 10,000 Euro from the KOICA fund as co-financing,

Confirm the VANI (India) as a fiscal agency of IFP project in Asia subject and request the VANI to ensure efficient financial management services,
-
Hire one full-time staff through open recruitment process once the agreement with IFP is signed, and appoint one of ADA/IFP member organizations to provide facilities and services for a hired staff as a host organization,

Request the Coordinator of ADA to prepare action plans on IFP program with the budget of 40,000 Euro and present it the Steering Committee of ADA for its approval,

Request 6 ADA / IFP members eligible for funding for national activities to develop outreach activities where there is no ADA/IFP members, (e.g. CCC (Cambodia) with Laos and Vietnam, INFID (Indonesia) with Timor-Leste and Brunei, etc.
