From 13-24 January 2020, please contribute to the development of the UN coherent and systematic approach to protecting and promoting civic space. The feedback and recommendations received during the “Global Online Consultation: UN’s Approach to Protecting and Promoting Civic Space” will feed into the development of the UN’s overall approach and strategy on the protection and promotion of civic space.

Led by OHCHR with the support from UNDP and UN Women, the target audience for this consultation are civil society actors at international, regional, national and local levels working on issues related to development, peace and security, human rights and humanitarian action. Participants are not required to be part of discussion during the entire consultation. They may wish to contribute their inputs on any consultation questions at any day and time (during 13-24 January 2020).
