Greetings of solidarity! We are pleased to invite you to the Asian Civil Society Forum on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16 (Asia Forum 16) to “Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels” in Bangkok on 15 to 16 August 2016. 

Attached please find the concept note and draft program.

The Asia Forum 16 is a joint initiative by the Asia Development Alliance (ADA), Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA) and Asia Democracy Network (ADN) in partnership with UN SDGs Action Campaign and Transparency, Accountability and Participation (TAP) Network. 

The Asia Forum 16 is to take place at the Holiday Inn hotel on15 Aug (Monday) and the UN Conference Center (UNCC) on16 August (Tuesday).  

It is also locally hosted by FORUM-ASIA which is a Steering Committee member of the ADN and regional partner organization of the ADA.

The Forum is open to all CSOs who are interested in working together to implement the SDGs with focus on goal 16 (governance or peace, human rights and democracy (PHD)).

Funding support may be provided for only a limited number of applicants due to financial constraints. Self-funded participants are more than welcome to attend.
