IBIS Riverside Hotel, Bangkok
24-26 Feb. 2017

Dear ADA Members,

We are happy to announce that ADA is organizing a regional workshop on National Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the IBIS Bangkok Riverside Hotel, Thailand on 24 and 25 (Friday and Saturday) 2017.  It is organized in partnership with Asia Partnership for Sustainable Development (APSD) and Action for Sustainable Development (A4SD, http://www.action4sd.org ) with the support from International Forum of National NGO Platforms (IFP).

The workshop aims at assessing the state of CSO engagement regarding the national implementation of SDGs by the governments and stake-holders in order to prepare CSO input for the Voluntary National Review (VNR) of UN High-level Political Forum (HLPF) to be held in New York on 10-19 July 2017 as well as UNESCAP’s Asia Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD) in Bangkok on 29-31 March 2017.
All ADA members and interested partners are cordially invited to this meeting and please submit the duly filled application / registration form on or before 10 Feb. 2017 if you are interested. Since sitting capacity for a meeting room is very limited, the first come and first served principle may be applied.

Self-funded participation is more than welcome as all are expected to raise their own fund to cover the expenses. However, thanks to the support from IFP, we can provide funding for several participants.

Funding priority will be given to ADA Steering Committee members and ADA members that are practically committed to SDG implementation nationally in particular, from those 12 countries that have participated and will be participating in the VNR of HLPF in July 2017
