At the C20 Summit on 18-19 June 2017, more than 450 individuals representing more than 200 NGOs from over 60 countries came together in Hamburg to discuss “The World We Want”, making the voice of civil society heard within the G20. In plenary sessions and workshops, issues like shrinking spaces, global health, climate, agriculture, finance systems reform and others were discussed, as well as new networks built. One of the highlights was the discussion with Chancellor Merkel. ADA was well represented in this important event.
